My kids are the worst about keeping their desks clean. But Josh takes it to a whole new level. So much garbage!
The other day I told them they needed to clean their desks, which Spencer, Cole, and Tess did. Josh made it look like he did, but in reality he just stuffed all of his granola bar, fruit snack, and old Halloween candy wrappers in the little tray behind his desk.
When I discovered this I was Not Pleased.
So I made this sign and felt better.
When he came home from school I heard him groan as he read the sign.
Then he snarkily replied wrote a reply. (And probably felt better.)
And then I replied. And heard his giggling as he read it. And we both felt better.
Sometimes I think I'm figuring this parenting thing out.
(In case you can't read the bottom well, Josh wrote: Why are you punishing me for being stupid? And I replied: Because that's my job!! And - you're not stupid, just willfully ignorant.)
