O Christmas Tree

I've been accused of being a tree snob. (Which is true. But that's beside the point. At least of this post.)

Here is evidence that shows I'm not that big of a tree snob. Behold that which we created for Family Home Evening!


I know, you're totally impressed.

The boys bought a kit for this for my birthday, and have been itchin' to use it ever since. They were so excited! Spencer had fun putting on the candy and helping with the icing. Josh had fun eating the candy and sneaking tastes of the icing with his finger.


This lovely piece of art now graces our kitchen table, where it will stay for the holidays. Or at least until Josh sneaks up there and snarfs it down. I give the tree three, maybe four days.
