This morning before school I heard the boys playing with our Fisher Price nativity set. Spencer and Josh were arguing over something, so I tried to distract them. "Spencer, why don't you tell Joshie and Cole who each of the people are in the nativity?"
This was a completely reasonable request. We have talked about this story many times. He has heard this story many times at church. We have several books about the nativity.
Spencer scowled at me. "What?"
"Show your brothers who each person is in the nativity scene. Who's that one?" I asked, pointing to a wise man.
"Ummm... Obama?"
*FACEPALM*
Guess what story we talked about - again - before school?...

Hope I don't come across as politically incorrect by saying this, but was it the darker complected wiseman he was referring to? That's funny.
If he thought the baby in the manger was Obama then he could be a Democrat.
