Hey! We're still here! In fact, we're all pretty much better. Spencer stayed home from school yesterday and today, but he's going back tomorrow. Oh boy, he is Going Back Tomorrow.
Okay, so we're all over the flu, but we're all still feeling a little funky and gross and tired. Lots of tantrums and crying and frustration. It's been a long couple of days.
In fact, this afternoon Cole had a good tantrum over the fact that his banana broke in two and couldn't be put back together. As in an on the floor with feet flailing kind of tantrum. (His fists would have flailed as well, but they were holding pieces of banana.)
It's been a banana tantrum kind of day.
But it's not all bad - I actually cleaned and organized the toy closet this morning. No small feat in the best of times, let me tell you. The hardest part was sneaking certain toys into the garbage can or Goodwill pile. (Shesh, kids! I say sheesh!)
So, hopefully now that we're getting back to normal my blog postings will follow suit. Hey, with this banana tantrum we're already halfway there.
