Every week as we are driving to church I ask my kids "Who's going to be good at church today?" or "Are you going to be good at church today?" or something along those lines.
And every week they all claim "Me! Yes! I'm going to be good!"
As I literally wrestled my way through Sacrament Meeting today I came to this realization:
My children can only be trusted to tell the truth about 50% of the time.
(At least when claiming good behavior is concerned.)
And, no, pointing out their discrepancies did nothing to help the situation.
*sigh*
