Around March our ward Relief Society had a service auction. Each sister donated a service (babysitting, free meal, computer help, etc.) or some sort of item, and then we bid on them with 'money' we had earned by doing good things (saying our prayers, reading our scriptures, going to church, etc.) We even had a real auctioneer, which made it all the more fun.Anywho, my good friend Gigi makes the most beautiful rag quilts for babies, and I totally wanted one. I saved lots of my money just for that and won!
For months after she kept telling me that I needed to pick out the fabric I wanted her to use. I just couldn't decide. Plus, it's not like I had a baby around who desperately needed to quilt. I told her I'd call in the quilt once I had need for it.
Well, Gig, I now have need for it.
I'll be needing that quilt on or around June 13th.

That's so awesome! Good luck, it's a wild ride with 3. Everyone I talked to before I had Jessie (including those with 7 or 8 kids) said three's the hardest. After that you just stop counting. :) But it's fun.
And I MISS the RS auction! That is the best RS enrichment I've ever been to. They have one here for a YW camp fundraiser, but it's not nearly so much fun.

That's great news...I hope for a girl but I have no reason why other than I have 3 and everyone needs to experience all the drama...wait did I say that. I love the quilt so cute. Actually it's funny I was going through some clothes a good friend gave to me incase we have a girl (yes I got rid of everything)and it made me want to have another girl...things are so cute!!!

So, on Friday, at Chick-fil-a, I was really wondering if you were pregnant, but you know decent folk don't ask those questions unless they have a real suspicion, and I wasn't about to be "one of those people". I'll hope for a girl for you, but my mother-in-law survived (with most of her sanity) with six boys :)

Thanks for all the well-wishes. And no thanks for those who say going from two to three kids is rough. What's up with that?! Where was that advice three months ago?! I'm just sayin'...
BTW, I feel I should mention that the picture of the quilt is NOT the quilt Gigi will make for me. I just felt the post needed some sort of visual.
