This year Spencer did not disappoint.
I don't know, not as great as last year, but certainly not a good picture! Was he trying to hide the gaps in his teeth? Did the photographer tell a joke that was only half funny? Was he whispering to one of his friends out of the side of his mouth right at that moment?
I've asked him. He has no answer. The world will never know.
Awesomely bad. I love it.
p.s. Please excuse the poor photo quality. Our scanner is having issues so I had to take a picture of the picture. Lame.

In my kindergarten picture I look like I'm staring at the photographer in awe -- it's because I thought he was a soap opera actor. I used to watch soap operas with my babysitter and the photographer was a dead ringer for one of the actors; I was star-struck.

My son's 1st grade photographer didn't like my choice of shirts, but happened to have a "spare" polo shirt, which he buttoned all the way to the top. It looked like Gabe had no neck. Fail. It was also the year I went all out and ordered the bookmarks, door hangers, luggage tags, etc.
This is exactly why I quit spending money on school photos. I sympathize.
