Morning Ritual

As soon as Spencer and Josh head out the door for school, Cole runs to Tess's room to watch them leave.  This morning he had some company.

Tess chattered happily while Cole kept watch.  He takes his bus watching extremely seriously!

Tess: And so then I was like "I'm NOT changing my diaper right now, mom", and she was all "Yes you are!"And then she held me down with her leg and I couldn't escape!  It was SO rude!
Cole: I know!  Mom is totally like that!

I told Cole to give Tess a kiss, but this is the shot I got.  It looks like he's trying to bite her.  Which, rather unfortunately, is more true to life than him kissing her.

I love it.  It totally looks like they're just chillin' and chattin'.

By the time the bus rolled by Tess had been distracted by other things, but Cole kept to his vigil.
