Oddly, it's not the shirt that's unusual. She does that every day. No, it's the standing! Tess pulled herself up! I know for most babies that's not a big deal, especially when they're almost 18 months old. But for Tess this is big.
She's been doing great with her therapy for the past three weeks, and she's making fast progress. She's climbing more, crawling normally more, and now pulling herself up to stand. Today she even climbed all of the stairs all by herself without falling once!
During the summer we teased that, just watch, one day Tess will be an Olympic athlete, and that her back story will definitely include how long it took her to learn how to walk! I'm totally saving the above picture just for that.
As mentioned, she's doing a lot more climbing and exploring now. Tess has a cupboard in the kitchen that she's allowed to play with. It's full of plastic bowls and all of the lids. And now it's full of Tess.
Actually, I had forgotten about the ceramic casseroles in the back there. Tess quickly reminded me that they were there. Yikes!
