Spencer played this piece during our ward's Christmas Sacrament meeting yesterday. For the week leading up to it and all that morning he acted like it was no big deal. The only sign of nerves I saw was his leg bouncing up and down about a minute before he had to go up. And then he went up in front of 200+ people and was cool as a cucumber.
I asked him to play tonight so I could film it, only to realize that he had left his sheet music at the church! No matter, he apparently had it memorized. Who knew?
Perhaps Santa will have to put a little something extra in this boy's stocking this year. :)
