is the reason why I have to clean my floors all the time.
She is also the reason why I do not clean my floors all the time. Why clean them when they're only clean for approximately 38 seconds? It's a lesson in futility, really.
Seriously, this child is getting messier and messier by the day. For a while she was actually neater than her brothers, but no more. I will not be sad when this phase passes.
I will, however, be sad when this phase passes.

| Dang blurry picture! Oh well, you get the idea. Baskets on heads are funny. |
Josh: What are these things?
Me: Christmas cards.
Josh: Why?
Me: What do you mean, why?
Josh: Why are they Christmas cards?
Me: ... ...They're cards. Sent out at Christmas. I'm not really following your line of questioning here, Josh
Josh: Why do they have pictures?
Me: Because that's what people like to do. So you can see their family.
Josh: Who are these strangers?
Me: Those aren't strangers, Josh, those are the Asays. They've known you since you were born.
Josh: Huh?
Me: Brother Asay was your Sunbeam teacher.
Josh: *crickets chirping*
Me: They came to our outside movie night.
Josh: I don't think so.
Me: We sat by them at the church Christmas party the other night!
Josh: I don't remember...
Me: They're Ethan's parents!! See, there's Ethan right there!
Josh: Ooooohh.....
He picks up another card.
Josh: But who are these people?
Me: Those are our cousins, Shanna, Brad, Landon.
Josh: Who?
Me: We've had Thanksgiving with them. Twice.
Josh: I don't remember.
Me: Obviously.
He picks up another card.
Josh: Who's THAT?
Me: That's my old roommate, Heather, and her family.
Josh: Oh yeah...
Me: You've never met them.
Josh: Oh.
Slightly less confusing is the fact that it is so cold that when I put some cookies out on the porch to cool they were frozen within 20 minutes. It's dang cold, people. But at least we're missing all the ice storms, so I'm okay with the cold.
