An actual conversation I had with Tess today.
Me: Um, doing cartwheels by the top of the stairs probably isn't the best idea.
Tess (all high and mighty like): I'm NOT doing cartwheels.
Me: Okaaayy, then maybe doing flips by the top of the stairs is not the best idea.
Tess (full of righteous indignation): I was NOT doing flips. I was doing SOMERSAULTS.
Me (sighing): Okay, doing somersaults by the top of the stairs is not a good idea.
Tess (as if I'm the crazy one here): Why not?!?
Sometimes I think I should just let natural selection take care of things.
