Lance and I finally got to see Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix today.
Opinion? LOVED IT! Least favorite book, but favorite movie. (Which was a relief, because book 4 was my favorite book but my least favorite movie!)
I loved the directing and am really happy that David Yates is directing the next one, too. Plus, the acting is exponentially better compared to the earlier movies. (Hey, after five movies anyone's going to get better at acting!) Yes, they had to leave out a lot of stuff from the book and even change a few things. But from a pure movie point of view, it was great. It was a good movie - not just a good Harry Potter movie, but a real movie. Does that make sense?
Anywho, I highly suggest seeing it. This one will definitely be joining the other DVDs in our collection.
