I actually have a list of lifetime goals on my Palm. Some of them are pretty big: go back to Jerusalem, spend a month in Europe, host a gourmet dinner party, publish a cook book, etc. Some of them aren't as grandiose: finish my quilt (I've been working on it bit by bit for 3 years!), sing Kereoke, learn to make great pastries, etc.I finished one of my smaller goals today: buy a chocolate at a chocolate shop. I know this is crazy - who's never bought a chocolate before? That would be me. I've always been too cheap/frugal to buy a single chocolate. It's doubly crazy because I went to BYU and they have a great assortment of handmade chocolates in the bookstore, notorious for being the downfall of many a co-ed. When I lived in Salt Lake the route Spencer and I would take for our daily walks went right by a chocolate shop - but again, I never even went in.
So for some still unknown reason I decided that today would be the day I would accomplish my
goal! The boys and I went to the Farmer's Market and then went strait to McCord's Candies. With Spencer's help we picked out four chocolates and a chocolate covered marshmallow, spending a whopping $2.80. Hey big spender! It was 9:30am, so I wasn't really in the mood for a lot of sweets, but naturally Spencer was. So of course I had to taste a chocolate, too! They tasted like sweet, sweet, pricey success. :)
Okay, I have another silly confession/goal. I have never picked up the phone, ordered a pizza, and had it delivered to where I live. Yeah, I know - it's completely un-American. I am totally letting the terrorists win. Cheapskate card again - it's expensive! Plus, we make pizzas around here all the time - it's faster to make one than to wait for an order! Growing up we NEVER ordered pizza, and when I went to college I never got in the habit. (Starving student!) Oh sure, I've been out for pizza lots of times. And we love Papa Murphy's Take 'n Bake. But it's not quite the same, is it?So here are my questions for you:
1. What are your goals, big or small?
2. If I ordered a pizza, who should I order it from?

And Maren, how can you forget the Colossus 26 inch pizzas at Pizza Pipeline with free 22 oz reusable cups? Ok, so we didn't have those delivered either...remember walking to Pizza Pipeline from CT? Remember Ben's chicken pesto pizza obsession? Ah, memories!
Holy Cow! How can any self respecting female walk past a chocolate shop and NOT go in? That's complete and utter madness!That was always a tradition with my mom when we were out shopping at the mall. We always had to go to See's and get a chocolate (or two!) The best part about See's is they always give you a free sample as well, so you end up with more!Yum!
As far as pizza, that's a good call. Pizza is so selective. Everyone has their own opinions about which kind is the best. I personally have ordered from Little Ceaser's and Papa John's the most. Probably because it is usually the cheapest. My favorite pizza is the Spinach Alfredo from Papa John's.That's good stuff!
Oh, and I have no life-time goals. At least not any that I have written down and declared lifetime goals.That's pretty sad, I know. I better get on it!
So Stacey, do I get an autographed copy of your book, or do I have to buy it on Amazon like everyone else? :)
The easiest thing is to order your delivery pizza on line. You can do that with Domino's. The first time you order they call to verify you exist. Thereafter you just order, pay, and they deliver. Sweet Success!

I think I am finally signed in. It was I that ordered pizza on line.
I order my pizza online, but I love deep dish pizza's and Pizza Hut by far has the yummiest deep dish pizzas. Sometimes if I'm not logged online then I will just call, but I still call Pizza Hut. Papa Johns has the second best pizza in my opinion. I especially like their cheese sticks. You cannot go wrong with those.
Sadly, I have succeeded in the one lifetime goal I had. I wanted to get married, be a stay at home mom, and raise kids. I was always worried I wouldn't be able to have my own kids. Thankfully, I was able to.
