Okay, I just have to brag a little bit. I have the cutest babies ever! Spencer was just an adorable baby, and Josh is following in his footsteps. And it's not just me that thinks so. So does Lance. And grandpa and grandma. :) But strangers think so, too. Now, mid-westerners are notoriously friendly, but it's as if they lose all self-control around cute babies. We are always getting stopped when I'm out with the boys, and Joshie is always getting touched and tickled. (Not too happy about that, but I'm trying not to go into "attack mode" unless necessary.) Little old ladies are the biggest culprits, always trying to get him to smile. It drives them batty that he's not very friendly with strangers; it's a rare thing to see Joshie smile back.
Well, Joshie was in rare form this evening. I think it's because he had my complete and undivided attention; he really put on a show! (Lance and Spencer are at a father/son campout.) Josh and I were at McAllister's Deli picking up some dinner to go. We waited at a small table near the registers; me in a chair and Josh on the tabletop. Music was playing and Josh started "dancing" (bobbing up and down) almost in beat with the music, smiling and talking and having a grand time. I talked and played with him, and he continued to dance, shake his head "no" (his new trick), and practice standing up. When my food came and I got up to leave, I turned around to see a rather large audience smiling and making eyes at Josh. We walked through the aisle and no fewer than a dozen people at different tables waived and smiled "bye-bye" to Josh. He smiled and giggled and flirted like a pro. My little star had groupies!

Here are a few cute video clips of my little celebrity. I love this first one because he always seems to wonder what is making him so wobbly, even though it's himself!
This video we were trying to get him to do his "no no no" head shake, but instead got this funny King Kong impression.
This last one we finally get him to do "no no no".
