If there's anything that I've learned as a mom it's that with children come many unsolvable mysteries. Imponderables, if you will.
Such as, Why will my children play downstairs for hours on end, but the moment I decide to go to the bathroom/shower/change my clothes/take a quick snooze/do anything that requires a modicum of privacy, they decide they need to come upstairs and demand something? Right then. No matter that I'm indisposed/asleep/naked, they need that drink of juice right now.
The world may never know.
