Cole behaved himself for the first 15 minutes because there was a rather large countdown display on the screen. That boys loves countdowns and cheers every time a timer goes off around here.
Only they turned off the display before the countdown was finished, which ticked him off.

"TURN THEM ON!!! TURN THEM BACK ON NOW!" Cole shouted. For the ENTIRE congregation to hear. (As in laughter from our friends. Silver lining: anyone who knows Cole was not surprised by this at all, nor offended. In fact, we were later thanked for the free entertainment.)
Tess decided this would be a good time to emulate her older brother, only her version was slightly softer and not quite as understandable. "Twurn on light!" Where light?!"
It took us several minutes to calm each child down. And then we dug in for the next 2 hours of
I love church. I love stake conference. I love my kids.
