
Pumpkins.
And actually, it's not so much love as obsession. Passion. Hang-up. Infatuation. Neurosis.
Man, do I love a good pumpkin.
I don't know why; I just do. They're so cute and have such personality and I just have to have them. It's not my fault - it's a genetic condition I inherited from my mom. I also inherited a ton of her decorative pumpkins, and I now I buy a new pumpkin every year. (Usually the day after Halloween - hey, I may be obsessed but my cheap side usually wins!) For the past few years now I have made a rule that I can't buy any pumpkins until October. (It helps control my pumpkin buying compulsion.) And since today was the first day of October and grocery shopping day, I picked up three from Wal-Mart.
I love them. Love them love them love them!
And this year is even better because I was able to grow some small sugar pumpkins in our garden. My favorite is the one with the twisty stem.
Hee hee... I'm so happy about the pumpkins I can barely sit still.

very cute! when you get around to carving a pumpking this year, I might need a lesson from the master ;) especially since this may be my last opportunity to learn from you. Just let me know when!
