I decided to get "back on the horse", if you will, and drive the car tonight. (Let one little fight with a street sign scare me from driving? No way!) ((Okay, maybe for the afternoon. But by this evening I was fine.))
The entire trip Spencer kept saying things like "Watch out for that sign, Mommy!", "Look out, Mommy! A street sign!", "I think I see some ice. Be careful!", and "Don't let the car bump into the sign, Mommy."
Tres annoying.
I had to keep telling myself that Spencer does not yet understand the finer points of sarcasm, so he didn't really mean to bug me. He was just being helpful.
Or maybe he's already a sarcastic mastermind. In which case, my hat off to you, son. Now go to your room.
