Company Christmas Party

Saturday night was Lance's company Christmas party.  Lance works for Innervision Advanced Medical Imaging, where he is the IT Director or Network King or AV Club President or Grand Computer Czar or something.  I don't know his exact title, but whatever.  He's the head computer geek, and that's cool.

Anyway, every year Innervision has a Christmas party for their 50-ish employees and their spouses/significant others/whoever, held at the Holiday Inn City Centre.  They serve a nice meal, have some sort of gift exchange (it's been ornaments for a couple of years), play a trivia game or two (money prizes!), and show funny videos made at the office.  (*Side note: This year I made one of the videos as a favor for Lance.  It included video of funny moments in the office taken from the security cameras.  While doing this I learned how to superimpose a person's head on someone else's body, which is an important life skill, I'm sure.)

Everyone dresses up and children are not invited, which are my two favorite aspects of the evening.

We sat with our friends Tad and Yi-Chou Culver, and had fun visiting with the radiologists (who own the company) and other employees, who are all genuinely good people.  And they all seem to adore Lance, which is good for job security, right? I even got to meet one of my blog stalkers, which was pretty scary  flattering. Hi Sherri!  (Now that I know you, I guess you can't be considered a stalker.)

Here's a picture that Janet took of Lance and I.  We clean up pretty well, don't we?  Lance and I rarely take good pictures together, but this one turned out surprisingly well!  I attribute it to the lack of children in the room. :)
