Separation Anxiety

Cole has decided that his duty, his mission in life, his calling from on high, his baby vocation is to

never let me out of his sight.

EVER.

All day long I hear his whining and cries from any other room that I am not in.  Sure, he gets over it after 5-10 minutes, but once he sees me it starts all over again.  If I walk by and don't pick him up, he freaks out.  If he sees me leave the room he howls.  If he's in the highchair and I happen to open the fridge and 'disappear' behind the door he starts bawling loud enough for the neighbors to hear.

Daddy will do in a pinch, but he's really not quite the same.

It's nice to be so loved.  But I'm sure ready for this phase to be over.

I think clinging would drive me nuts, but what cute smiles! Kate has entered the daddy phase. She will whine if she sees Brian and HE doesn't pick her up. I don't know what it is with my girls but they sure love their daddy.

I loved Darth Vader.
