To be honest, I don't remember much about Easter this year. Mainly because I was still in a drug-and-lack-of-sleep-induced haze. But I do remember dying Easter Eggs with the boys the night before.
Like our uniforms for egg dying?
I also remember there was much weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth from the kids. (Don't be deceived by Cole's smile!)
Then Cole decided he didn't want to dye the eggs. He wanted to eat them. Shell and all.
Gross, Cole.
Saturday morning the boys discovered that the Easter Bunny had left a trail of eggs from their bedroom down to the basement. (The Easter Bunny doesn't work outside during inclement weather.) There they found lots of hidden eggs and their
Easter bags full of loot.

| A drunken Josh shows off some eggs he found. |
 |
| The boys all got pinwheels. (Poor Tess just got clothes and crib sheets.) |
 |
| It took Cole a while to warm up to the idea of finding Easter eggs. He has to have his cup of milk in the morning before he can really get going. |
 |
| Finally ready to find some eggs! (I think he found all of 3. He really just didn't care.) |
 |
| Josh cared. A lot. |
 |
| Looking for more eggs. |
 |
| Cole was much more interested in the Dinosaur Train interactive toys. (They talk to each other; they're actually pretty cool!) The Easter Bunny got them on super clearance at Target after Christmas. Score! |
 |
| 7:30 in the morning and Josh is already hittin' the chocolate Easter Bunny. |
So although I don't remember many details, I'm pretty sure we all had a very happy Easter!

Oh my heck - Maren, you are so funny! I laughed several times about your "drunken Josh" picture. How funny!
