Two Storms at One Time

Yesterday I had to deal with two storms at once.

The first storm looked like this:

This storm was created because his momma wouldn't let him go outside and play.

The reason I wouldn't let him go outside and play was because of this storm:

Yikes.  Those clouds sure were close to the ground and ominous looking.

But I sure was happy to see them!  It hadn't rained in weeks, and instead of the lush greenery we're used to in Indiana this time of year we're surrounded with yellow and dry.

Despite the rain to help ease the drought, Cole was still pretty ticked.

But would you let your kid out to play under those clouds?  I think not.

Even if he screamed and cried and begged.

At least until you let him take a picture of your garden.  Ah, lovely, lovely garden!

Eventually, both storms passed.  The clouds left lots of good rain on the ground.  Cole left his clothing, piece by piece, around the house.

Guess which storm I prefer? :)

I'd say that "Cole Storm" can be a rough one when it decides to be :)
