My dad sure knows the way to this gardening momma's heart. :) Now I can make my own black gold for my garden! It's pretty exciting. I don't really know what I'm doing, but I'm learning.
No, no pictures of me hugging this new garden tool. (Like with Rhoda the tiller.) I mean, it's pretty exciting, but it's basically a glorified garbage can. No hugs. Just happiness.
Most everyone around here is putting their garden in this week. Not me - I'm still a bit wary of the weather. The last no-frost date isn't until Mother's Day weekend, and this Spring has been nothing but nutso. Plus, I've been busy. Crazy busy. Nutso busy. With what? Kids, the house, church stuff, being sick, getting better, life. I don't know why everything is so busy right now, it just is. Hence the scattered blogging.
Anywho, I've been busy. Today I was busy doing this:
I planted 10 raspberry plants today. Hooray! This involved using my tiller. Hooray! Hopefully in a few years we'll have lots and lots of raspberries. Hooray!
Spencer wanted to be in a picture. He's getting so dang big.

Maren, this is the story of my life right now! I just got a tiller, put in raspberry plants and got really sore. Oh, and Marriner made me a compost bin. We're twins!!
