Spencer went to his first court of honor last night for Boy Scouts. He earned his first Boy Scout badge - First Aid.
You know who else went to the court of honor? Josh, Cole, Tess, and me. Lance had to hold down the fort at our ward building while we trekked out to the stake center.
Josh? Josh was an angel. He totally behaved himself the entire time.
Cole and Tess? NOT SO MUCH. It was all I could do not to knock their naughty little heads together for a moment of peace. Seriously. Court of honors right before bedtime should not be attended by the 5 and under set.
And Spencer? He was excited but refused to admit it. And proud. And he refused to tuck in his shirt as we were leaving the house, but as soon as we walked in there and he saw all those teenage boys with their shirts tucked in he quickly followed suit. That's the kind of peer pressure I like!
