Look at the shiny, new, red Valentine we bought this morning:
That's right, people. I'm finally a mini-van mom. A Chrysler Town & Country Touring mom. And you know what? That's not such a bad thing.
Here's a side view. (Ignore the pregnant super-model in front. I know it's hard.)
And here are the men of the family. The boys are WAY excited to have a mini-van, mainly for the DVD players. I'm excited for the easy-to-clean leather seats. And Lance? He's excited we traded in the old Cavalier so now he gets to drive my trusty Camry. Everyone's happy. (Even the baby, who is currently kickboxing my belly button.)
I have to admit: I always thought the most expensive Valentine's Day gift I would receive would be something shiny and dangly on my ears or neck.
Also: I always thought the most expensive red car I would ever own would be small and sporty - not fit seven passengers and have towing capabilities.
No matter. The heated seats more than make up for it!

Hooray! You have joined the Town and COuntry Club! We have a T&C too. Not a Touring, but still. I LOVE it! Ours also has heated leather seats and a built in DVD player. Seriously. After you drive this for a while you will wonder how on earth you have gotten by without one. ANd traveling in it is a breeze. Happy V-day to you all! Enjoy!
Donald and I agree that a minivan would classify as a heavy and gaudy accessory on your ears or neck, although I think I have seen larger earrings on HSN and American Idol. Good choice to drive it instead. And I agree with Kerry; soon you will wonder how you ever lived or traveled longer than a trip to church without it! :-)
