Tess literally grew out of her shoes overnight last week. One day they fit and the next morning we couldn't get then on. So I ordered some new ones that came today. Can you tell who chose the colors? (Oy, this girl likes bright clothes!
As she was running around the house - testing how fast the new sneakers could go - she yelled to me in passing "Today is the oneth day of February!!!" And it was darling and my heart melted a little because I thought "How much longer will I have kids young enough to say cute things like that?"
But then after Family Home Evening, while the kids were putting away laundry but before dessert (because we've discovered laundry gets put away A LOT faster and with less drama if dessert is involved), Josh came up to me and asked "Why do you have chocolate Ganesh out?" And it was darling because it was chocolate ganache and my heart melted a little and I realized I still have lots and lots of time left for my kids to say cute things.
