All of a sudden I find myself extremely pregnant. Not just a little - a lot. It's like I'm in the last week or two, only I still have a what feels like a lifetime.
I can't breathe. I can't bend. I can't sleep. Little elbows and feet and hands create uncomfortable corners in my stomach at very inopportune times. Sciatica. Dislocating hips. Heartburn. All the fun stuff.
And I ache. Oh, how I ache. I'm blaming it all on being old (an ancient 31!) and having two very active little boys. Or maybe the baby knows that this is his only way to get attention right now and is exploiting this fact at every opportunity.
Oh well. June 1st, you are now my favorite day of the year. You can't come fast enough. Sure, I'll have a huge incision and a newborn to take care of. But at least I'll be able to breathe! (Something I regrettably take for granted in my non-pregnant moments.)

Yep, I hope after my baby is born I'll spend at least 5 minutes a day enjoying the fact that I can take a deep breath!
