Rock On

This morning as I was slowly walking Spencer up to preschool it started spitting hail. It was good-sized hail, a bit bigger than a pea. This cute conversation ensued:

Spencer: Look, Momma! It's rocking!

Me (trying to keep up with his four year old pace because I was still feeling gross): What?

Spencer: It's rocking! Look at the rocks!

Me (realizing he meant the hail): Spencer, you are too cute.

Spencer: Yeah.

I made the mistake of correcting him, so now he calls it hail. I know he'd have to learn the right term eventually, but it's just not as cute.

Also, in related news, Josh has taken to calling pizza "Jesus". I have no idea why. The pizza we had tonight was good, but it certainly wasn't a spiritual experience.

Cute stories!

When we were teaching Caleb about Jesus we showed him a picture of the cover of Preach My Gospel. We said, "Who is this?" and he said, "DR. PHIL!".

Priceless.

Nice. Love the Dr. Phil. (My kids know who he is, too. Although we haven't been watching him as regularly because his shows are becoming a bit more adult; or maybe it's that Spencer understands it better now!)
