No Daddy: Day Six - Just Kidding!

Day six, and I still haven't locked the kids in their rooms and run away screaming. Oh, I've thought about it, but haven't crossed that fine line quite yet.

We went to church today and the boys acted the same way they always do - meaning I heard about 1/4 of every meeting. Good night nurse! I swear, little kids must be allergic to church, because there's something about it that makes them act so rotten... not to mention the sneezing and hives and such. (Just kidding.)

But that's probably not the reason why you're checking the blog today, am I right? That's right, today's the day I announce my new calling at church!

Dum duh duh daa!

I'm the new primary teacher for the seven and eight year olds!

Tah-dah!

Okay, a little anti-climatic. But I'm cool with it. Seven and eight year olds are a pretty good class; old enough that I don't feel like I'm babysitting and young enough to believe me when I threaten them with headstands or wall sits for misbehaving. (Again, kidding.) (Kinda - I don't know what the class is like yet. Whatever it is, bring it on!)

I'm sure I will have lots of interesting primary class stories from now on. So if anything, this calling will make for more interesting blog posts. Which I'm sure is why they chose me to teach, right? (Kidding again!)

You'll have a great time with that class. I love that class because you get to go to their baptisms.
